Basketball closed up last weekend with the state tournaments and a few Delaware Valley League teams took home some hardware at the state tournaments. With the season season and post season of basketball officially over all the awards are being handed out. The Delaware Valley League has announced its All-League teams. The ACCHS Tigers were the team that tallied the most players with All-League honors having eight total players make it; four players made the first team, two to the second team and two more earned honorable mention honors.
The Jeff County North Chargers saw the second most players on the teams with seven total, four players on the first team and three and on the second team. Next up was the Valley Falls Dragons and Pleasant Ridge Rams with six players each earning All-League honors. Valley Falls had two players on the first team and four players earn honorable mention. While, Pleasant Ridge had one player on the each of the first and second teams and four players earning honorable mention, as well. Immaculata was able to get four players All-League honors, with two on the first team and two on the second team.
Maur Hill Mount Academy, Doniphan West, Oskaloosa, Horton, KC Christian, Riverside, Jackson Heights and McLouth each had two players earn All-League honors with a mix and match on players earning first, second team or honorable mention honors. The Troy Trojans were the other DVL school to have players on the All-League list with two players making it, one on the second team and an honorable mention.
