After several months of continuances, a 22 year old Atchison man gets a felony charge dismissed as part of a plea deal.
Cody Horton had a felony charge of criminal threat dropped Friday in Atchison County Court.
In exchange, he pled guilty to the misdemeanor counts of domestic battery and disorderly conduct.
He was arrested October 29th by Atchison police after an altercation between his current girlfriend and mother of his child.
After their altercation, factual basis reports say he struck the mother.
Sentencing is scheduled for April 20.
He is out on five thousand dollars bond.
