Jefferson County’s ambulance fees will be going up.
County commissioners voted unanimously in their regular weekly meeting Monday to increase all base rates by 50 dollars.
This came from the recommendation of Ambulance Service director James Tweed.
With the increase, the rates will be closer to other ambulance service rates in the region.
