The Morrill Public Library will kick off its celebration “Kansas Reads to Preschoolers” week with a Saturday morning drop-in Storytime on November 11 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
“Kids and families are invited to stop in during the morning for a story, a craft, and refreshments!” said Susan Bryant, Outreach Librarian.
The book selected for this year’s celebration is The Napping House by Audrey Wood. Guest readers for the event include Kendelle and Andy Runer, Becky Schwanke, Linda Duesing, and Lucille Pennel.
“Kids can bring their stuffed animals and take pictures in our Napping House photo booth,” said Bryant. “And we also have new puppets for our puppet theater featuring all the characters from the book.”
The Saturday event is sponsored by the Friends of the Morrill Public Library. The Library also has regular Storytimes on Mondays at 10:30 a.m. for toddlers, and Thursdays at 10:00 a.m. and 3:45 p.m. for preschoolers.
