(KNZA)--A single-vehicle wreck on a Jefferson County road early Sunday morning claimed the life of Meriden teenager.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says it happened around 1:00 on Detlor Road about one mile south of the junction of K-4 Highway and 54th Street.
The Patrol says 18-year-old Skylar Callahan was southbound when his pickup truck left the roadway and struck three wooden fence posts, causing the vehicle to overturn twice.
Callahan, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected.
He was transported by Jefferson County EMS to Stormont-Vail Healthcare in Topeka where he died.
