(KAIR)--A lawsuit, stemming from a past Doniphan County wreck, ends with a $6.3 million settlement.
The Kansas Chief reports the decision was reached by a Jackson County, Missouri jury on behalf of Troy resident Roger Ross.
He filed the personal injury lawsuit in connection with the crash that happened on the morning of March 19, 2014 on K-7 Highway at 225th Road in Fanning.
His John Deere tractor was struck in the rear by a semi, sending Ross through the glass-enclosed cab.
The truck was attempting to pass Ross' northbound tractor, which was attempting a left-hand turn.
The truck driver was not hurt.
The lawsuit was filed against Jeschke Ag Service.
Closing arguments were presented October 13th.
