Tip From Public Leads to Drug Arrest

(KLZA)-- A tip from the public leads to the arrest of a Falls City woman on drug charges.

Falls City Assistant Police Chief Jamie Baker said he and Sgt. Pat Stamper responded to the call about possible drug activity early Friday afternoon. Upon arrival contact was made with 30-year-old Jessica Hayes who was placed under arrest.

Hayes is charged with a felony count of possession of methamphetamine and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. She is awaiting an appearance in Richardson County Court.

The Falls City Police Department encourages citizens to contact the Police Department whenever you notice suspicious activity.
