(MSC News)--St. Joseph Police are investigating the death of a Doniphan County woman.
Captain Jeff Wilson with the St. Joseph Police Department says the 34-year-old woman, whose name has not been released, died Monday in the intensive care unit at Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph.
Wilson says police are looking into the circumstances surrounding her death. He told the St. Joseph News Press that police started looking into the death after hearing unspecified rumors. However, he said her death currently does not appear to be suspicious.
The woman's body has been sent to Kansas City for an autospy, and Wilson says they are waiting on those results.
