Bid Approved for Marshall Co Highway Project

(KMZA)--The Kansas Department of Transportation has approved a bid for a highway resurfacing project in Marshall County.

KDOT says Hall Brothers Incorporated, of Marysville, was awarded the contract for the project on U.S. 36 Highway, with a bid of more than one-million dollars.

Nearly 7 miles of U.S. 36 will be resurfaced from the Washington/Marshall County line to the west city limits of Marysville.

The bid letting took place September 21st in Topeka.

A date hasn’t been announced yet for the project.
