(KLZA)--Falls City Economic Development and Growth Enterprise Executive Director Beckie Cromer expects to be in front of the Council again in November with requests concerning the next step in the renovation of the Grand Weaver Hotel in downtown Falls City.
Cromer expects to present a request for GAP financing in November. Initial plans call for an $850,000 investment for renovation of the third floor of the hotel. Included would be five hotel rooms and five new apartments, one of which has already been leased.
Two businesses are also planning to locate on the first floor of the hotel.
Cromer also informed the Council the Orscheln’s has notified EDGE there is a sale pending on their building on the east edge of Falls City. The name of the buyer has not been revealed.
