(KLZA)-- A Johnson man is dead, killed Wednesday evening after a vehicle rolled on top of him.
The victim is identified as 63-year-old Wayne Gerdes.
According to the Cass County Sheriff's Office, Gerdes was working on the vehicle at a home in Beaver Lake when the accident happened.
A sheriff’s deputy arrived shortly before 9:30 and administered CPR until an emergency medical service crew arrived.
Gerdes was taken to the Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, where he was pronounced dead.
