(KNZA)--A Dawson, Nebraska man has been sentenced to more than 4 ½ years in prison on charges in connection with a Memorial Day weekend shooting at the Old Sabetha Lake. Heidi Wolfgang reports..
Nemaha County Attorney Brad Lippert says 59-year-old Anthony Leftwich was sentenced last week in Nemaha County District Court to a total of 55 months in prison on charges of aggravated battery and criminal threat.
Lippert says Leftwich was also ordered to pay nearly $334,000 restitution and will be required to register as a violent offender for 15 years.
He pleaded “ no contest” last month to the charges.
