(KAIR)--Heavy storms rolled across the local region Tuesday night, bringing with them heavy rain, lightning, and strong winds.
Damage from those storms is felt in Atchison, where several trailer houses incurred heavy damage.
Kim Bottorff is the American Red Cross Community Coordinator for Northeast Kansas.
She tells MSC News the late night storms downed trees on Atchison's County Club Road, which fell on the homes.
No injuries are reported, but the residents have been displaced, with the Red Cross working to provide those who were affected with temporary housing and other assistance.
