(KNZA)--Special honors for Holton Community Hospital, recognized as one of the top 20 critical access hospitals in the country.
The distinction was made during the National Rural Health Assocation's conference, held last week.
Hospital CEO Carri Saia, in a news release, says the hospital is blessed with “a dedicated, caring, and professional group of individuals who provide care,” adding that that she is “very proud” of all the staff being recognized for their efforts.
The news release states that the honor is determined by iVantage Analytics, based on the achievement of high rankings on the patient perspective index. Measured, in determining a hospital's performance, are the overall hospital rating and patients that would highly recommend the facility. That comes through a survey of services, and the level of quality, as measured from the patient's point of view.
The not-for-profit Holton Community Hospital Corporation serves Holton, Hoyt, Wetmore, and surrounding areas.
