(KAIR)--An Atchison Woman lands behind bars following a theft that occurred earlier this winter.
According to Atchison County Sheriff Jack Laurie, 41-year-old Tracey Vollmer was arrested Tuesday on charges of burglary and theft.
The charges stem from a report dating back to Feb. 10 when a shed at the residence of 6879 Lincoln Road was entered. That entry left an air compressor and a lawn mower missing, Laurie said.
Atchison Police Chief Mike Wilson told MSC News Vollmer was arrested by his officers and released into the Atchison County Jail.
Vollmer appeared in the Atchison County District Court Friday morning requesting a reduction in her $10,000. The judge considered her request and said he’d inform her lawyer of his decision at a later date.
Vollmer’s case was continued until Sept. 30.
