(KLZA)-- A two-vehicle wreck in Falls City Saturday evening left two teens with minor injuries.
According to the Falls City Police Department, 17-year-old Kyle Leafty of Falls City was southound on Harlan Street and pulled into a driveway at 601 Harlan. When Leafty pulled back out onto Harlan Street, which is U.S. Highway 73, his car was struck by a car driven by 16-year old Shane Campbell of Falls City.
A passenger in each vehicle suffered what were described as visible but non-disabling injuries. 19-year-old Nathan Liberty of Tecumseh, who was a passenger in the Leafty car, was taken to Community Medical Center to be checked out. 15-year-old Halen Farmer of Falls City, who was a passenger in the Campbell car, did not seek medical attention.
There were four occupants in the Leafty vehicle and three in the Campbell car. Leafty was issued a citation by the investigating officer. Neither alcohol nor drugs were suspected to have been a factor in the wreck.
