(KNZA)--A St. Joseph man has been charged in connection with a string of home invasions in the city earlier this week and police are seeking the public's assisting in locating another person of interest in the case.
KQ2-TV reports Buchanan County Prosecuting Attorney Dwight Scroggins has charged 20-year-old Jabin Bullock with one count of felony first-degree burglary.
Bullock was arrested Monday and is being held in the Buchanan County Jail without bond. He’s scheduled to appear in court Friday.
St. Joseph Police issued a news release Wednesday seeking the public’s help in locating 26-year-old Gregory Allen Hayes, who they identify as a person of interest in a home invasion Monday morning in the 700 block of South 13th Street in which a victim was shot.
Police say this investigation is connected with a series of other home invasions that occurred late Sunday night and early Monday morning.
Police served a search warrant Tuesday in connection with the investigation, where a 16-year-old juvenile was arrested who is believed to be involved in multiple incidents.
Police say the investigation is continuing and additional suspects may be identified as it progresses.
