(KAIR)--An Atchison County man goes to jail in connection with alleged child sex crimes.
A report from Atchison County Sheriff Jack Laurie says his office was notified of two incidents of aggravated indecent liberties with a child on Sunday.
The report says the alleged crimes took place between Jan 1, 2012 and Dec. 31, 2013. However, the victim, who was between 7-9-years-old at the time, just recently reported the incidents.
The suspect, 59-year-old William Huckaby, was made aware of the allegations made against him and turned himself in Monday.
He faces two counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a child under the age of 14.
Huckaby was booked into the Atchison County Jail where he remains held on a $75,000 cash surety bond.
