(KNZA)--A number of streets in the City of Hiawatha will be chip sealed beginning Wednesday, weather allowing.
The city says this year Second, Third, Fourth and Fifth Streets along with the East Ridge Addition will be completed.
The city is asking residents to have all vehicles removed from the streets through the duration of the project.
If vehicles are not removed, they will be towed at the owner’s expense.
Crews will be starting at 7:00 in the morning, so vehicles should be removed prior to that time.
Those with questions should call City Hall at 742-7417.
