(KAIR)--A Friday night Jefferson County wreck, between a motorcycle and a pickup truck, sends the motorcyclist to the hospital.
The Kansas Highway Patrol identifies him as 36-year-old Rodney Kessler, of Perry. He was transported to Stormont Vail HealthCare, in Topeka, for treatment of his injuries.
According to the Patrol's report, Kessler was riding his Harley-Davidson eastbound on U.S. Highway 24, in Perry, when the pickup, which had been stopped on Elm Street, pulled in front of him.
The truck was driven by 35-year-old Hoyt resident Devan Singleton. He and his passengers, 27-year-old Danielle Galley, and 32-year-old Darek Faught, both of Effingham, were not hurt.
The wreck happened shortly after 11:00.
