(KMZA)--The Nemaha County Commission has agreed to provide funding for the purchase of new playground equipment for the Sabetha Community Pre-School.
Sabetha Community Pre-School representative Jennifer Strathman met with the Commission Monday to request funding from the Broxterman Estate funds for the purchase of new playground equipment.
Strathman said they have had several students with sensory and/or gross motor disability disorders and would like to address those needs with new equipment.
Commissioners told her that the Broxterman Estate Fund for community children’s needs is depleted.
The Commission voted to provide $1,900 from the Commissioner’s fund for the purchase of the equipment.
The funds will be used to purchase a rock climbing wall combination play set and two above ground tanks for gardens with figurines and accessories.
