(MSC News)--Check your ticket, someone is holding a Mega Millions ticket in northeast Kansas that will make them a millionaire times two.
The Kansas Lottery says one ticket sold in northeast Kansas matched the first five numbers, but not the Megaball, in the July 8 drawing. Because the lucky ticket also has the Megaplier option, the normal $1,000,000 “Match 5” prize was multiplied by two, to make the ticket worth $2,000,000.
Another ticket, also sold in northeast Kansas, matched four of the first five numbers plus the Megaball, to win $5,000.
The winning numbers in the July 8 Mega Millions drawing are: 08-19-20-55-73 Megaball 05.
A ticket sold in Indiana matched all numbers in the July 8 drawing to capture the third largest Mega Millions jackpot in history – an estimated $540 million, with a cash option of $381 million.
