Downtown Seneca Getting New Street Lights
07/08/2016

(KMZA)--New street lights will be installed in downtown Seneca.

The City Council Wednesday evening approved the purchase of 34 new lights at cost of around $126,000.

They will replace the current lights on Main Street between 3rd and 6th Streets.

The proposal presented to the Council also included 12 attached trashcans, but the Council opted not to purchase them at this time.

The current trashcans will be moved to the city’s parks when not needed on Main Street anymore.
