(KMZA)--A new doctor is coming to Marysville.
Danielle Wurtz, a doctor of osteopathic medicine, will be joining the medical staff at Community Memorial Healthcare in Marysville.
According to a news release, Dr. Wurtz will begin her family practice at Community Physicians Clinic (CPC) in Marysville, effective September 19th. The clinic is owned and operated by Community Memorial Healthcare.
Wurtz, who grew up in Barnes, KS, graduated from medical school at Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Parker, CO, and completed an undergraduate fellowship in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine.
The news release says Dr. Wurtz has a passion for obstetrics, women's health, as well as a special interest in geriatric and hospice care.
Dr. Wurtz and her husband, Seth, have two children. Seth, who is originally from Clifton, KS, is a field technician with T-Mobile. They currently live in the Barnes area.
Dr. Wurtz says she’s excited to start rural family medicine in Marysville, and looks forward to working with the physicians and staff at CMH.
