(KNZA)--A February 22nd preliminary hearing has been set for a rural Mayetta man charged in a fatal stabbing last month.
Jackson County Attorney Shawna Miller says that came Tuesday during a status hearing for 49-year-old Wilson Noriega.
Noriega is charged with first-degree murder, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He’s accused of fatally stabbing 49-year-old Leann Sanchez early November 21st at a residence on the Prairie Band Potawatomi Reservation where the two lived.
Noriega remains in the Jackson County Jail, held on a one-million dollar bond.
