Nebraska Department of Labor
(KLZA)-- The November unemployment rate in Nebraska remains steady at 2.9 percent while in Southeast Nebraska the unemployment figures dropped slightly.
Pawnee County has the lowest unemployment in the area at 2.3 percent, down a tenth from last month.
The other local unemployment rates for November included 2.7 percent in Richardson County, 2.7 percent in Johnson County, 2.9 percent in Nemaha County, 2.5 percent in Otoe County and 2.9 percent in Gage County.
All the monthly figures were lower than the year prior.
