(MSC News)--Seven years in prison.
That's the sentence handed down for the Saint Joseph woman convicted of endangering the welfare of her infant son.
KQ2-TV reports Sasha Lizar learned her fate in a Buchanan County courtroom Monday.
Authorities say she left her 1-year-old son in the care of a man who shook the child to death in August.
The trial for that man, identified as Roy Miller, is scheduled to begin in April.
