(KNZA)--The Horton City Commission officially has a new member.
Lonnie Boller took his seat on the Commission this week after being sworn in by City Clerk Kim Clausen as the new Parks and Recreation Commissioner.
The Commission during a special meeting November 20th approved the appointment of Boller to fill the unexpired term of the late Al Barton who died unexpectedly earlier in the month.
Boller had sought the post during last year’s election and lost by a coin toss.
The term runs through 2018, with the position to come up for election in November 2017.
