(KAIR)--Statewide honors for a Doniphan County native currently studying at Highland Community College. Sophomore Stephanie Scales, of Denton, has been honored with the Juror's Merit Award for the 32nd Annual Five State Photography Exhibition at Fort Hays Arts Center Gallery. According to a press release from HCC, Scales' photographic image was one of 159 selected from 389 entries for inclusion in the exhibition, which runs now through January 21st. The image, titled Cycles, depicts an apple and an apple tree, and will be one of the featured pieces in the exhibition. Scales is an Elementary Education major at Highland Community College.
