(MSC News)--While preparing for Christmas this weekend, shopping for the best deals to purchase the perfect gift for that special someone, don't forget the little guy.
That's the reason behind Small Business Saturday, an initiative launched five years ago by American Express. It's held each year on the Saturday following Thanksgiving.
Numerous local small businesses, including those in Hiawatha, Seneca, Holton, Atchison, and beyond, will take part in this year's effort to see money spent locally to support local communities.
