Atchison Woman Sentenced In Drug Case
11/20/2015

(KAIR)--An Atchison woman, arrested after a drug bust by the Atchison County Sheriff's Department, has been sentenced in the case.

20-year-old Samantha Bruckerhoff-Crowell appeared in Atchison County District Court Friday morning, where she was sentenced to a total of fourteen months in prison on one count of distributing marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school, one count of interference with a law enforcement officer, one count of driving while suspended, and one count of aggravated endangering a child. The judge suspended all but fourteen days of the sentence, and ordered that she be placed on twelve months of supervised probation after she served that time in the Atchison County Jail.

Bruckerhoff-Crowell was arrested in August, along with 20-year-old Dale Rogers after a controlled purchase was arranged by the Sheriff's Department in the parking lot of Walmart.

In a separate case, she was sentenced to eighteen months in prison, and eighteen months of probation on one count of identity theft, one count of driving while suspended, and one count of failure to stop at a stop sign. The prison time was suspended, and the judge ordered that the sentence be served concurrently with the sentence in the first case.

The charges in the second case stem from a September traffic stop in Atchison when she allegedly showed another person's driver's license to an Atchison police officer.
