(KNZA)--If you're looking for an early start for the Christmas season, look no further than Holton, where the spirit of the season will be alive on Saturday.
That comes as the annual Christmas Parade of Lights will be held, with ceremonies set to begin at 6:00 Saturday evening.
The parade is scheduled to include vehicles, floats, and other such attractions, lit up for the holiday season.
The top business, religious, and club/organization floats will be awarded cash prizes.
The parade line up begins at 5:15 Saturday evening on the east side of the Holton High School.
After the parade makes it's way around downtown Holton, the Christmas celebration will continue.
That will include a lighting ceremony at 6:30, with all of the Christmas lights atop the Town Square buildings to be lit.
Santa Claus will be on hand for all of the events, and will be seen as part of the parade.
The Jolly Old Elf will also be available for pictures at the Jackson County Courthouse during the evening. He will also return to Holton for a another photo opportunity on December 12th.
