Not Guilty Plea Entered in Home Invasion Case

(KNZA)--The last of three men arraigned in connection with an alleged home invasion in April on the Kickapoo Reservation has pleaded “ not guilty” to charges.

33-year-old Tyler “ Tiger” Banks entered the plea Monday in Brown County District Court to five counts.  A four-day jury trial was set,  beginning March 1st.

Banks is charged with felony counts of aggravated kidnapping, aggravated robbery, aggravated assault and criminal threat along with a misdemeanor charge of criminal damage to property.

Jury trials are also set for the two other men charged in the case. 22-year-old Andrew Darnell is scheduled for a 4-day trial beginning December 8th on five felony counts, and a trial for 35-year-old Westley Banks is set to begin January 5th on seven counts.

All three men remain in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bond.
