(KMZA)--The Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Department continues to investigate the death of a Blaine woman earlier this month.
45-year-old Shannon Chebultz was found lying on a road in the Wamego area next to a pickup truck on September 6th bleeding from the head.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Sheriff Greg Riat says the investigation at this time is being conducted as a motor vehicle accident. He says the investigation to this point indicates Chebultz appears to have fallen from a moving vehicle, sustaining fatal injuries.
