(KAIR)--Leavenworth Police continue to search for a suspect they believe was involved in a Friday morning shooting that left one man injured.
Deputy Police Chief, Major Dan Nicodemus tells MSC News that police were called to the scene of vehicle collision involving a Cadillac and an SUV at the intersection of Tenth Avenue and Kansas Avenue. Upon arrival, a gunshot victim was found, and transported to a local hospital for treatment of serious, but non life threatening injuries.
The Leavenworth Times reports the 37-year-old victim was released from the hospital later that day.
Investigators say he was a passenger in the SUV and was allegedly shot by a 29-year-old Leavenworth man in the Cadillac.
Police continue to search for the suspect.
