(KMZA)--A sport utility vehicle reported stolen in Jefferson County earlier this month has been recovered in Nemaha County.
The Nemaha County Sheriff’s Department responded to a report shortly after 8:30 Monday morning of an abandoned vehicle on 144th Road between B & C Roads.
It was learned the 2003 Honda Pilot that was found had been reported stolen in Jefferson County on August 14th.
The vehicle was secured for processing, and later released to the owners.
The investigation is ongoing.
