(KAIR)--A Muscotah woman, accused of abusing her three month old son, has had another continuance granted in her case.
The preliminary hearing for 22-year-old Heidi Pace was continued Wednesday due to a scheduling conflict with an officer involved with the case. A new court date was set for August 27th.
Pace was arrested in April, after a social worker at Children's Mercy Hospital reported to law enforcement officials that a child was being treated for injuries believed to have been caused by abuse.
Pace remains in the Atchison County Jail, held on a $50,000 bond.
