(KLZA)-- he Partners In Education group in Falls City is teaming up with Southeast Nebraska Community Action to collect school supplies for the upcoming school year.
Melissa Hardenberger, with the SENCA Outreach Office in Falls City says donation boxes have been places at the Dollar Store and ShopKo in Falls City. Donations may also be dropped off at the SENCA Outreach Office on the first floor of the Richardson County Courthouse.
Among the supplies needed are backpacks, pens, pencils, pencil boxes, rulers, scissors, watercolors, glue, folders, crayons, notebooks, loose leaf paper, headphones, tissues, colored pencils, and markers.
Families that need assistance with school supplies need to pre-register by August 5th, by contacting the SENCA Outreach Office at 402-245-5284 to sign up. Distribution of the school supplies will be Monday, August 10th at the SENCA Office, Room 103 in the Courthouse in Falls City.
