(KMZA)--A Westmoreland man was arrested early Sunday morning following a double shooting in the Pottawatomie County community.
Pottawatomie County Sheriff Greg Riat says 28-year-old Travis Conder was arrested on charges of attempted second-degree murder and aggravated battery.
Riat says sheriff’s deputies responded to 110 South 4th in Westmoreland around 2:30 Sunday morning after the sheriff’s office received two 911 calls. Two individuals were located outside the residence, both suffering from non-life threatening gunshot wounds. They were transported to a local hospital.
Conder was taken into custody at the scene without incident and booked into the Pottawatomie County Jail.
Riat says Conder and the two victims lived at the residence.
The shooting remains under investigation.
