(KNZA)--Jury trials have been set for two men charged in connection with an April home invasion on the Kickapoo Reservation.
35-year-old Westley Banks pleaded “ not guilty” Monday in Brown County District Court to seven counts.
A four-day jury trial was set, beginning January 5th. A request for a bond reduction was granted from $500,000 to $250,000.
Co-defendant, 21-year-old Andrew Darnell, stood mute during his arraignment and the court entered a “ not guilty” plea on his behalf to five felony counts. A 4-day jury trial was set for Darnell, beginning December 8th.
A third man charged in the case, 32-year-old Tyler “ Tiger” Banks, is scheduled for a preliminary hearing July 22nd. He's facing five counts.
All three remain in the Brown County Jail.
