(KAIR)--The Atchison VFW Post number 1175 will receive a $500 donation from Vyve Broadband, in support of local veterans.
According to a release from the company, the money will go toward fostering community among veterans in Atchison, and will support various VFW programs that directly effect vets.
Vyve's System Manager in Kansas, Roberta Erikson says the company wants “to give back to the men and women who sacrificed their comfort and safety to protect those freedom's” that we enjoy.
The donation was announced earlier this month in conjunction with the Independence Day holiday.
