Pawnee City Council Reviews City Owned Ag Property Valuation

City Hall - Pawnee City

(KLZA)-- The Pawnee City, City Council reviewed the property valuation change of ag land owned by the City. The holdings include an 80 acres site that is leased out for agriculture and a 109 acre site that contains the Pawnee City water wells. 

The valuation on the 80 acre site went up $13,000 to $124,000 and the 109 acre site valuation increased $21,000 to $193,000. 

The Pawnee City Housing Authority Environmental review was discussed. The City is to hire Southeast Nebraska Development District to conduct the review with the costs to be reimbursed by the Housing Authority.  

The Pawnee County Arts Council was given permission to block off G Street from 5th to 6th Street on June 28th from 6-9 p-m for an ice cream social and band concert.
