Structures Damaged In Nortonville Blaze
06/05/2015

(KAIR)--Multiple fire crews worked to battle a fire in downtown Nortonville Friday afternoon.

According to The Newsleaf, the fire broke out in the middle of a row of buildings on the northeast side of Main Street. The heaviest damage appears to be in the bank, and a building that had, at one time, housed a pharmacy. A restaurant also appears to have suffered significant damage, especially in the kitchen area.

No injuries were reported.

The Kansas State Fire Marshall is investigating the possible cause and exact location of the fire.
