(KNZA)--A boil water advisory has been lifted for Atchison County Rural Water District No. 5.
KDHE issued the advisory Thursday because of a water main break at a creek crossing.
Officials says the break has been repaired and all other conditions which placed the system at risk of contamination have been resolved.
As a result, customers no longer need to boil the water they use for drinking or food preparation.
