(KNZA)--Two Powhattan men charged in connection with a suspected case of arson in Brown County waived their preliminary hearings Wednesday.
19-year-old Codey Wamsley and 22-year-old Dylan McGinnis were each bound over to Brown County District Court on a charge of arson. In addition, Wamsley was bound over on a charge of felony interference with law enforcement.
Arraignment for both men was set for June 1st.
The pair is accused of setting fire to an old vacant granary on February 22nd in the area of 200th and Bittersweet Roads.
They were arrested following an investigation by the Brown County Sheriff’s Department.
