(KAIR)--A Meriden man is in custody, accused of stealing medication from his elderly disabled mother.
Jefferson County Sheriff's Department Sergeant George Welch says the alleged theft took place Saturday at a residence located at 6868 K-4 Highway, and was reported two days later by a social worker who was checking on the victim.
Investigators were able to determine that 39-year-old Jason Green was involved in the alleged incident and took him into custody early Monday afternoon. He was booked into the Jefferson County Jail on charges including contempt of court, mistreatment of an elderly person; omit or deprive of treatment or services, battery, aggravated criminal threat, and aggravated robbery.
