(KAIR)--An Atchison man accused of burglary and theft in two separate cases has entered a "not guilty" plea in both.
23-year-old Ryan Brownfield appeared in Atchison County District Court Monday afternoon, where he entered the plea to three counts of felony theft and two counts of burglary of a dwelling in one case, as well as to three counts of burglary of a motor vehicle and three counts of felony theft in the second case.
A jury trial was scheduled to begin on July 7th.
Brownfield was arrested in March after leading authorities on a multi county vehicle pursuit. An Atchison Police Department investigation alleges that Brownfield was involved in a number of vehicle burglaries before the pursuit began.
Brownfield remains in the Atchison County Jail, held on a $275,000 bond.
