(KNZA)--The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a man found earlier this week on a bridge near St. Joseph was killed by a semi truck.
Troopers say 36-year-old William Dau, of St. Joseph, was walking in the westbound lanes of Highway 36 when he was hit by a semi truck driven by 60-year-old Mark Conn, of Albany.
Dau's body was found on the Platte River Bridge just east of St. Joseph on Tuesday morning.
Authorities say no charges will be filed.
