(KNZA)--A Hiawatha teen has been arrested in connection with an arson investigation.
Brown County Sheriff John Merchant says 16-year-old Jared Morey was arrested Monday on a charge of arson.
Morey's arrest stems from a suspicious trailer house fire that took place February 24th at 1268 220th Road near Hiawatha.
The case remains under investigation.
According to Merchant, Morey is currently held in Douglas County.
