(KNZA)--A Hiawatha teen charged in connection with two Hiawatha business burglaries and an attempted burglary last November has entered into a plea agreement.
Dalton Herwig pleaded no contest Monday in Brown County District Court to two counts of burglary, one count of attempted burglary and three counts of criminal damage to property. In exchange for the plea, three additional charges were dismissed.
Sentencing was set for June 1st.
Herwig was convicted of breaking into Davies Oil and Nigus Liquor and attempting to break into Henry Liquor late last November.
Two juveniles were also charged in the case.
